19th C. Moro Kalis Sword. Hand wrought, watered steel, double edge blade with asymmetrical "cockatoo" pierced guard and silver stirrups connecting a hardwood handle. The handle is metal clad with wire work grips and mother of pearl inlaid pommel. Hardwood, rattan bound scabbard with mother of pearl inlaid locket and chape. Overall sword length 28.5 inches. Blade 22 inches.
